Description
This module records and analyzes rotational movement, using a Yumo E6B2-CWZ3E 1024-position rotary encoder. It is capable of logging position data to a microSD card, streaming live position data to the computer, and streaming position directly to an external module (i.e. Analog output or DDS) for closed-loop sensory feedback applications. Position thresholds can be set, and reported as behavioral events to the Bpod state machine. The Bpod-CAD repository includes open designs for a 3D printable rotary encoder mount and paw-interface wheels, which can be used as a starting point for constructing custom paw-motion interfaces.
