Set different frequencies of sound using a passive buzzer

Hi,
I am using Bpod r0.9 and I want to generate different frequencies of sound using a passive buzzer. I use {'PWM3', num} to change the sound of the buzzer, but I don't know the relation between num and frequency. How can I set the frequency of the buzzer? Are there more parameters of 'PWM' that I can use?

Hello Wenxin,

PWM is an 8-bit value that controls the duty cycle of the LED line. The PWM frequency is fixed at 50kHz.

To time the buzzer, you can create square waveforms of up to 5kHz using global timers, by setting the 'Duration' and 'Loop Interval', as shown in this example. I'd recommend using a drive circuit, if one isn't already integrated into the buzzer.
