Constructing an Analog Output Module V2 using PCB for V1

Is it possible to make the V2 AOM using the PCB for V1?

I compared the .brd files for the two, and they appear essentially the same with one rotated component, and the BoM for both are the same with the exception of the Teensy version. We have a bunch of leftover V1 AOM boards that haven't been soldered yet but are out of Teensy 3.6s. Can I just slot in an Teensy 4.1 instead and it'll work? Or should I manufacture new PCBs with the V2 files? Not sure if there's any details I'm missing.

Hello vvega,

Unfortunately Teensy 3.6 and 4.1 have UART interfaces on different pins, so we had to swap things around for v2. AOM v1 uses Serial2 (Module) and Serial3 (State Machine), while AOM v2 uses Serial1 (State Machine) and Serial2 (Module).

I'd fab the new version for use with T4.1.
