Newbie: 2 output channels control by turns

Hi, I'm new to use PulsePal V2.
Currently, I'm using only 5s custom train of Channel 1 on standalone-mode.
I set the configurations (duration, pulse.. etc) by joystick and click the joystick to start.

Now, I extent to my experiment to use 2 output channel.
Once it started, I want to set
custom train#1 5s on in channel 1 and following custom train#2 5s on in ch2.
The duration and pulse interval are different between channel 1 and 2.
To set this parameter, can we do in standalone-mode?
Or can I handle this in MATLAB code?

Any suggestion would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hello Jessie,

Custom pulse trains (where each pulse has a configured onset time and voltage) can only be programmed via the PC (MATLAB, C++ or Python). In MATLAB, you'd use the SendCustomPulseTrain() function.

As a stand-alone device, if you have a 5 second pulse train programmed on Ch1 and Ch2, and you want a single joystick click to trigger Ch1 right away and then Ch2 5 seconds later, you'd:

Set the PulseTrainDelay parameter of Ch1 to 0s
Set the PulseTrainDelay parameter of Ch2 to 5s
Set the LinkedToTriggerCh1 parameter of Ch1 to 1 (linked)
Set the LinkedToTriggerCh1 parameter of Ch2 to 1 (linked)
From the 'Trigger Channels <Channel 1>' menu, select < Trigger Now >

Hello Josh,

Thank you so much for your help. It worked!!
In the default setting, Ch3 and Ch4 linked to Trigger Ch1.
Un-linked these channels, it worked exactly that I wanted.
