Hello,
I'm trying to connect to the Bpod through the IBL GUI (which uses pybpod) and when I try to load the board it refuses a connection with an error dialog that says "Error loading ports. Cannot configure port, something went wrong. Original message: OSError(22, 'The parameter is incorrect', None, 87)". Please see attached screenshot.
I know the COM port I'm trying to connect to is active as the Matlab Bpod installation is able to connect to it using the same port. Moreover, this only happens when I try to use the IBL Bpod software on a Windows virtual machine. On the host, I'm able to connect to the same Bpod with both the IBL Bpod software (via pybpod) as well as the Bpod Matlab software.
On the Windows host:
IBL/pybpod: Connects
Matlab Bpod: Connects
On the VM guest:
IBL/pybpod: Errors
Matlab Bpod: Connects (so we know the assignment and switching of COM port from the host to the VM is not the issue)
Do you have any thoughts on what could be the reason I'm unable to connect in that specific instance and/or tips on where I should look for the fix?
Thank you,
Uday
