Hi,
I have assembled a pulsepal v1.1 and I wanted to know how I can adjust the output current? I need to stimulate based on current not voltage. If there is no way to adjust the current how do you suggest I measure the output current?
Hello Seyed
Unfortunately, Pulse Pal uses a voltage DAC IC to drive its outputs. To directly control current of the output channels, it would have to have been designed with a current DAC.
For now, you can feed the output of Pulse Pal's voltage channels into an analog isolator, which will transform the voltage signals in Pulse Pal's output range (+/-10V) into current pulses whose range can be set on the device (knob on the right: microamps out / volts in).
I hope this helps!
