Hi Josh,
We currently have four behavior setups going using the older Bpod r0.5 boards that all work perfectly with our setup. We are setting up a newer behavior room and are attempting to use an r0.8 board with the exact same setup but we are having an issue playing sounds. The way our program works is that a sound is initiated when the subject pokes the middle port and the sound is supposed to end when a selection is made. This is where the issue is happening with the newer board, the sound continues to play on repeat until another trial is initiated and a new sound gets loaded. I have confirmed that this is a Bpod issue and not a sound hardware issue by bringing in one of the older Bpods and the program runs fine. To be more specific, we believe the issue stems from the BNC Out to the sound system that we are using. The Bpod is sending the initial signal to trigger the BNC Out to the sound system but the second "off" signal is not being sent. Are there any changes between the 0.5 and 0.8 firmware that would cause this issue? Is there a way to load the 0.5 firmware onto the r0.8 board? I appreciate your assistance!
Thank you,
Kevin
