Dear Bpod fellows,
I am trying to connect two capacitive lick sensors to the Bpod Interface Bord, with product ID 1008. I am wondering whether it is feasible to wire the lickport to an external Arduino Uno (as a feedback mechanism, where the capacitance is converted into a high or low voltage. Basically turn lick into pulse of let's say 5V). Simultaneously, this should be wired to the Bpod Port interface board. In that way, I would like to establish communication between the capactive lick sensor, an external Arduino Uno, the Bpod Interface Bord (via Emitter + and -) and the Bpod.
Is this possible? Perhaps it is even possible to write something in Matlab, which would then rule out the requirement of an external Arduino to convert licks into voltage pulses? Eventually, I guess when developing protocols I can create a StateChangeCondition 'Port1In' and 'Port2In' as soon as the mouse licks. Could somebody with more experience help me out?
Thanks for your answers.
